Originally from California, we moved to Branson, Missouri, with two toddlers and two dogs in tow. A love of cooking and people led us to open a dessert cafe.
Our idea was to open a cheerful little shop full of tasty sweets and food made fresh daily from great, fresh ingredients!
We found our home at the Branson Mill, where we are surrounded by the most talented artisans in the area. The Mill features live music and art demonstrations throughout the day, so we are always entertained!
Then we had the
bright idea to listen to our customers who asked for simple, fresh lunch fare
and hand-dipped ice cream, so we opened POP's PLACE
across from the Sweet Shop.
POP's PLACE is our celebration of Americana,
fashioned after an old-time soda fountain, and serving hot dogs, fresh soups
and sandwiches, popcorn, hand-dipped EDY's ice cream, sundaes, malts, shakes
and floats.
So, now LaDella spends her days icing cookies and making fudge, and we're just happy as can be!
